A word
„transport” seems to be simple and obvious for us: it means a train (and we can
classify, for example, the Polish trains into local, InterCity, and TLK [Your
Railways], although it would be better to call them “Kitsch Railways”), then we
have buses, though they are more popular rather in cities and almost completely
forgotten as long-distanced means of transport, at least in Poland. I think
that is all we associate with “public transport, isn’t it? And how do others travel?
At the
moment I am sitting at the dentist’s surgery as I must have my tooth repaired. This
tooth had already shown the elapsed time, but its condition worsened during our
last trip to Armenia, when our new mates hit me with a bike helmet, I mean,
they tried to help me put it on. And this article is going to be devoted to the
inhabitants of this particular part of Asia.
